Understand the Use of Mono Post and Jack Post in Construction

Mono post has long been known for their easiness of installation. It also has compliance with the newest IBC and IRC Building codes and rust-resistant powder coating. Intended to be a permanent building column, these are made of durable steel for safety and stability. These mono posts come totally assembled with no loose parts.

The mono posts are constructed of high carbon and steel. These are available in various adjustable lengths. This has decanted concrete locks post adjustment permanently. So these mono posts are adjustable metal columns. They are utilized to support a beam or bearing point.

There is also another post called jack post which is installed for permanent use for the support of major beams in the house. This jack post is also known as lally columns or steel columns. These jack posts usually come in two hollow steel tube sections with an adjustable rod at one end. There are two small steel bearing plates one for every end. But it is generally cheaper to purchase them if utilized for more than a day or two.
