Adjustable steel columns that provide support

Whenever there is a remodelling of buildings one will always look out for jack post. They are used to fix and provide a temporary additional support to the ceilings and walls. Any building that had been built years ago will likely to have cracks. If the basement of the building is affected by cracks, it puts the entire building into the risk of collapsing. Repairing areas like that are quite tough and need help and support. Steel post and telepost can help by providing additional support for these walls before falling.

There are just adjustable steel columns that have two large plates on either side with holes in it.  These posts can be extended to the wants and the length of the building. Usually, they come in a packed way where we have to change and adjust it. Fixing it is very easy but one should be very careful as it is going to be acting as a temporary support instead of the primary strong supports. When fixing the telepost or a steel post one has to be concerned about the screw and its fixing. It is these screws and bolts that fix the steel post firmly on the ground. As these are temporary they can also be removed easily.

Usually the fixed post comes painted and this paint won’t go off easily as they are put into many serious spray tests and won’t rust or corrode easily. These teleposts come in a lot of varieties based on the purposes and the loads that are going to be exerted upon it. Though they are very useful for supports it should not be left as a permanent support for the broken walls and cracked ceilings.
